“You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.” – 2 Corinthians 9:11 (NIV)
It’s been two weeks since I started writing, and to be honest—I’m loving it. While I know there’s still a lot I need to do to grow my blog and reach more people, I’m grateful that I enjoy the process of simply writing and reflecting. For now, that’s enough.
But a desire is slowly growing in me—not just to write, but to connect. To start a community, share stories, and help encourage others who are walking with Jesus too.
Writing from a Place of Testimony
On my free time, I watch videos about how to grow an audience, build a blog, or start a faith-based platform. And while those are helpful, I try not to get too caught up with the numbers or strategies. I remind myself: this is God’s work in me, not mine alone. My main goal is still to testify—to write what God is doing in the everyday and share His goodness, whether it’s seen by one person or one thousand.
Some advice I came across says to publish once a week to avoid burnout. But honestly, writing doesn’t burn me out—it fills me up. Sharing how God moves in the little things brings me joy. And I realized… if God is always moving, why would I ever run out of stories?
Every Day is a Chance to Testify
Each day, no matter how ordinary, I am reminded of His grace.
God rescues me in small ways—through a comforting word, a sudden solution, a gentle nudge when I’m straying. His mercy meets me when I fail, and His provision sustains me through quiet seasons. There is always something to testify about, even in the mundane.
This verse reminds me of that calling:
“Then Jesus came to them and said, ‘All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.’” – Matthew 28:18–20 (NIV)
This wasn’t a command given only to the apostles—it’s for every believer.
Sharing the Gospel doesn’t always mean preaching from a pulpit. Sometimes, it looks like sharing your story: your small steps of faith, your answered prayers, your ordinary days filled with grace.
Your Story Can Encourage Someone
Whenever I gather with my discipleship group at church, I’m reminded that no two testimonies are the same. Some are grand, some seem small—but every single one is a reflection of God’s faithfulness. Whether it’s a breakthrough or a quiet reassurance, our stories matter.
“God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.” – 2 Corinthians 9:8 (NIV)
God doesn’t just bless us for ourselves—He blesses us so we can bless others. And when we share what He’s doing, it leads others into thanksgiving too.
“You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.” – 2 Corinthians 9:11 (NIV)
Even your smallest testimony might be the encouragement someone else needs.
Finding My Rhythm with Grace
I’m not trying to overwork myself or prove anything by writing daily. I know the advice to slow down is wise, and I’m learning to listen to that too. But I also feel a conviction in my heart that if God is moving in my life—even in small things—I want to honor Him by sharing it.
For now, I’ve committed to writing for 30 days straight—not as a strict rule, but as a joyful offering. And I do this with grace, knowing I can miss a day or two and still be faithful.
Ultimately, I’m not just trying to find a content rhythm—I want to find God’s rhythm. How often He wants me to write. What He wants me to say.
Final Encouragement:
Your life doesn’t need to be extraordinary for God to use it. Sometimes, the most powerful testimony is your faithfulness in the ordinary. Keep walking. Keep sharing. Keep testifying.
God is at work—through you, with you, and in you.
Reflection Questions:
- What is one small way God has shown His faithfulness to you this week?
- How can you turn that moment into a testimony that blesses others?
I’d love to hear your story 🤍
